Never pay a deposit!

Only last week (September 09), Platinum Insulation received a call from a home owner in Auburn, NSW asking us for a quote.

This home owner had just had someone knock on her door, telling her they will insulate her home for her for a $100 deposit. Luckily the homeowner had some sense and refused the offer.

We immediately sent a quoter to the address as luckily we had someone in the area, and once our quoter looked in the ceiling, they found the home was already fully insulated!

This is quite concerning as there is a lot of pressure on the insulation industry already for these sort of unscrupulous operators trying to rip off unsuspecting homeowners.

Please never pay any amount as a "deposit". Platinum Insulation never asks for a deposit if the home insulation job is over $1200. We will simply collect the balance of the job upon completion (if there is an extra cost).

Of course, if the home insulation job is under the $1200 limit, it will be done for free.
